Can I use the comments sections for discussion?
Yes! Almost every post has been set to allow comments. Many of the posts are comment-driven. The only posts that do not allow comments are closed updates (for example, a page is in progress and can be viewed, but it is not finished yet).
How do I comment on a post?
When you click on the number of comments associated with the post you are currently reading, a new window will open (this way you don't have to leave the main blog). Here, the intuitive menu allows you to comment as an anonymous user, or you can choose from other types of identification. Once submitted, your comment will then be temporarily logged on the server until it is moderated. If it is accepted, you will then see it the next time you come back to that post. If it is rejected, it will not be shown. Take note that all comments are read regardless of publication status.
When I click on a linked page referenced in a post, it opens in a new window. Why?
The coding in this blog has been conveniently set up so that you don't have to leave the main blog window. By coding links to open in new windows, you can conveniently flip between the blog post you are reading and the target page of the associated link.
